Policy Plenary Meetings

The Policy Plenary Meeting is the core of CEAC activities and a place for Think-tank Members, Intellectual Members, and Corporate Members to assemble and exchange their knowledge, information and views and share the awareness of the issues and their strategic implications by conducting face-to-face discussions. The Policy Plenary Meeting focuses on keynote presentations by Council Members or guest expert speakers, followed by intensive discussions among the Members, and adopts reports, appeals or recommendations on the respective issues.

The Policy Plenary Meeting maintains close working relationship with the government ministries and agencies concerned and receives briefings from the government officials such as Counselors of CEAC, and submits to the government reports on the results of research studies and/or policy recommendations.

Also, it endeavors to enlighten public opinion on the concept of an "East Asian Community" by conducting town meetings and public relations activities through the website.
